The grand opening of Salon D’Vine in downtown West Union on Friday will be a celebration for not only the local hair salon staff, but also their faithful customers.

“We just love everything about it, and we’re sure our customers will feel the same,” said owner Deb Rovang. “From the new name and location to the expanded space, services, and new décor, we feel we have designed a fun and relaxing atmosphere for everyone.”

She noted that the salon’s new name was chosen from approximately 20 entries submitted by her staff’s faithful customers.

Formerly known as TaDa Salon, the local business was originally located adjacent to the West Union Laundromat. Although not a hair stylist herself, Rovang explained that she was always intrigued by the profession, and the timing was right when she purchased the salon from Brenda Steinlage last January.
