Sam Brauer, PA-C, physician assistant at Gundersen West Union Clinic, did not take the most direct route to become the community's newest medical provider, but it's where he's always wanted to be.

Brauer provides the full scope of family medicine care at Gundersen West Union Clinic. And for him and his family, it's great to be "home." A Decorah native, Brauer, his wife and their children are settling down again in the town where he was born and raised.
