It has been 70 years since Mark Mihm opened the doors of Mark’s Jewelry’s in St. Lucas in 1946.

The popular northeast Iowa jewelry store may be enjoying its third owner, but the business has never left the family. Mihm sold the store to daughter Mary Pat Ridout, in 1985. Jill (Kuehner) Heins, Mark’s grandaughter, bought the business from Ridout in July 2014.
