“Good morning, KQ98.”

If you have ever had your radio dial tuned into 98.3 while cruising to work through northeast Iowa in the morning, then you may be familiar with the phrase spoken when a caller phones into the station.

The signature voice behind that phrase is Phil Costigan, Morning Show host of over 25 years.

As the second school year approaches for the new West Central high school, it is often good to reflect on how the first year went in the new building.

Stuart Fuhs, West Central High School principal and athletic director, noted that there weren’t any major issues with the new building after construction was completed. He said the first year ran as smoothly as could be expected. There were some bugs and kinks to work out, as with any new building, but overall, teachers and students adjusted well to the new education environment.
