When Jeremy and Stacy Merrill got their first taste of the business world several years ago, they knew that they wanted more.

“In the fall of 2014, we opened a bed and breakfast cabin on our property,” explained the couple, who live along the banks of the Turkey River near Fort Atkinson. “After running that for a year or so, we decided that we wanted to diversify and discussed getting into screen printing.”

The Merrills discovered a company that provided them with the knowledge and equipment to jump into the screen printing industry and to “press play.”

Video games are a source of media that transport the consumer into the imagination of their creators.

From “Pong” to today's AAA titles, such as “Battlefield 1,” video games have come a long way in the last five decades, an industry on the brink of extinction in the ‘80s to being worth billions of dollars today. Video games have an ever-growing, vibrant online community that brings together people from all ages and walks of life. It is truly a global industry.

Looking to make his mark in the world of video games is Clermont resident Brady Guyer. Computer-savvy since preschool, Guyer has always known that making video games was what he wanted to do with his life.
