Stephanie Rose Maurer, daughter of Dwight and Kathy Maurer of Fayette, and Scott Richard Weidemann, son of Richard and Bev Weidemann of Hawkeye, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Stephanie is a 1997 North Fayette High School graduate and a 2001 graduate of the University of Iowa. She is employed as the patient liaison at Gundersen Lutheran.
Scott graduated from North Fayette High School in 1993 and from Northeast Iowa Community College in 1994. He is the owner of Scott Weidemann Construction in West Union.
The couple are planning a May wedding.
