Jerry and Donna Blue of West Union observed their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15.
The couple will celebrate with their family at a later date.
Jerry Blue and Donna Frey were married June 15, 1963. Their family includes four children, GeriLynn Blue of West Union, Shelly (Keith) Curry of Eldridge, Jeff Blue and Chris (Bridget) Blue, both of West Union, and eight grandchildren.
The Blues are the co-owners and managers of Best Rest Inn and Suites in West Union. In addition, Jerry is the former editor/publisher of The Union, where he continues to work in the capacity of corporate vice president.
