Huinker to play for Viterbo

Huinker to play for Viterbo

North Fayette Valley outside hitter Morgan Huinker signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Viterbo University in LaCrosse Wis.

The signing took place in the high school library on the West Union campus Monday, Nov. 18.

Head coach Ryan P. DeLong, said, “We had Morgan in one of our volleyball camps last summer and really liked her offensive capabilities.”

Huinker noted, “The V-Hawks have a tremendous volleyball program; Viterbo won its conference and went to Nationals the past two years. It also has a good nutrition and dietetic program that has placed 100 percent of its graduates.”

Viterbo is a member of the NAIA and Midwest Collegiate Conference that also includes Grand View, Clarke University, St. Ambrose, Mt. Mercy, William Penn, and AIB. 

Morgan is the daughter of Terry Huinker and Nedra and Josh Blietz.
