The West Central girls’ basketball team won its second game of the season Friday, Feb. 6, at Cedar Valley Christian, 56-53.

Earlier in the week, the Blue Devils lost at least two games.

Postville came to Maynard on Monday, Feb. 3, to claim a 42-36 win.

Tuesday and Thursday, the Devils were at South Winn and Starmont, respectively.

SW held the Devils to three points in the second half in a 63-18 win. There was no score from the Starmont game, and no statistics were available at press time for any of the contests.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, West Central travels to Kee High for the opening round of Regional action; game time will be at 7 p.m.
