In less than three months Elgin Homecoming 2014 will already have concluded, but the committee is selling commemorative pieces now that can help the memories last a lifetime.
For those collectors, the committee is selling Elgin Homecoming 2014 crockery salt and pepper shakers for $25 per set.
The set can be purchased at Strahm Hardware, Torkelson Motors, or the Art Gallery in Clermont. Interested individuals may also contact Mary Schott at (563) 426-5834 or mschott@martinsnet.com or Cindy Torkelson at (563) 426-5797 or torkel5@alpinecom.net.
T-shirts
Orders are also being taken for two different T-shirts: “Elgin Homecoming 2014” and “Always an Elgin Panther.”
The “Always An Elgin Panther” T-shirt is purple with white print and costs $12 for adult sizes ($3 more for extended sizes) and $10 for youth.
The Elgin IGA has a display of the two shirts available for viewing, and order forms are available at Strahm Hardware in Elgin.
Donations
As many know, it takes a great deal of volunteers and financial support to make any event a success. The Elgin Homecoming Committee is still accepting financial donations by mail at Elgin Homecoming, 100 Sunrise Street, Elgin, IA 52141.
