The West Central girls’ track team faced some stiff competition in two track meets last week. Tuesday, April 29, the Blue Devils were at Clayton Ridge and Thursday, the girls went to Nashua for the North Butler Invite.

At Clayton Ridge, nine different girls contributed to the scoring. The 4x200 of Jamie Barry, Mary Michels, Anna Barry, and Erin Lehs won the only medal for WC, a bronze. Mary Scott, Cherokee Noggle and Ashley Buzynski all had personal-best times in the 800, 1500, and 400 hurdles, respectively.
