North Fayette Valley ended the softball regular season with a 7-1 week, capped by one of its best runs in the Don Bosco Tournament in Gilbertville over the weekend.

Next for the TigerHawks is the Class 3A Region 4 playoffs, which began Tuesday (July 8) in West Union. New Hampton was the 7 p.m. opponent. The Chickasaws were in the top 10 midway through the season, but wound up losing 11 of their final 14 games.
