Robert Patridge

Robert L. Patridge, 93, of Fayette and formerly of Maynard, Iowa died Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette.

Robert Louis Patridge was born March 29, 1927 at Maynard, the son of Irving A and Rena Belle (Hungerford) Patridge.  He graduated from Maynard High School. Bob farmed and worked for Fayette County.  On October 12, 1957, he married Pauline Alberta Taylor at Maynard.  Pauline died in 1988.  On September 24, 2000, he was united in marriage to Lucille Minnie (Newcomb) Goodin at Maynard.  Bob was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Maynard.  He enjoyed woodworking, creating beautiful furniture, fishing, gardening and his dogs.

Robert is survived by his 6 stepchildren: 

Alice Ramirez of Tucson, Arizona,

Judy (Howard) Nading of Oelwein,

Susie (David) McLaughlin of Plano, Texas,

Barbara (Rick) Jans of Philomath, Oregon,

Patty (Steve) Carpenter of Philomath, Oregon and

Patrick Michael (Diane) Goodin of Alpha, New Jersey;

many step grandchildren and great step grandchildren;

sister: Florence Sanders of Omaha, Nebraska;

and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 wives: Pauline on July 28, 1988 and Lucille on April 3, 2018; stepdaughter: Diane Buhr; brother: Charles Patridge; and 2 sisters: Averie Silka and Ruth Zimmerman.
