Vicki Kay Hodges, 44, of West Union, Iowa died Monday, June 8, 2020 at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union, Iowa. Vicki was born May 23, 1976 to Bernard Thomas and Sharon Rowe in Fallbrook, California. Vicki recently celebrated the 23rd anniversary of her 21st birthday. Vicki graduated from Oelwein High School in 1994. 

Vicki was united in marriage with Robert Edwards in Apache Junction, Arizona in 1998. Vicki was then again united in marriage with Joey Hodges in Wickenburg, Arizona in 2009. Even though things may have not worked out, they all remained the best of friends. Vicki worked as a Community Service Assistant for Prairie View in Fayette. Vicki enjoyed watching crime shows, going to concerts- especially Kid Rock, and making trips to the boat. Vicki loved going to sporting events- Phoenix Suns Games and having Family Game night. Vicki's favorite thing to do was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Vicki will be remembered for her love of music and her famous tacos. Family and friends will miss Vicki saying "Hey Toots" and "Dollbaby". Vicki will always be remembered for her heart of gold and willingness to help others. 

Surviving Vicki is a special friend, Jesse Ledesma; her children, Sierra (River McMahon) Reyes of Glendale, Arizona, Summer (Gordon Wyninger) Reyes of Fayette, Iowa, Jevon Edwards of Norfolk, Virginia, and Abby (Adam Miller) Edwards of Glendale, AZ; grandchildren Bentley and Hazel Wyninger; father, Bernard (Mary) Thomas of Oelwein, Iowa; siblings, Suzanne (Scott Johansen) Rowe of West Union, Amy Smith of Hudson, Iowa, Raven Thomas of Oelwein, Iowa, and Mitchell Thomas of Iowa City, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Kelsey (Corey) Schroeder, Tyler Johansen, Chase Blagsvedt, Alexis Ruroden, and Delaney Panther; and great niece and nephew, Wesley and Stella Schroeder. 

Vicki was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Kahn; and father, Joe Kahn. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 4-7pm at 108 North Oak Street in West Union, Iowa. 

There will be a Private Family Service at a later date. 

Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation service of West Union, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
