Catholic Schools Week officially got underway Sunday and activities at St. Teresa of Calcutta Schools are underway. The theme to this year’s week-long celebration is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”

Activities and dress up day themes for the rest of the week are as follows:

Wednesday, Feb. 2, will be Dress Your Best Day. There will also be an all-school Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales in Ossian. Students will also complete service projects. At 1 p.m., there will be a variety show and at 2 p.m., Mrs. Kriener and Mrs. Busarow will be “Silly Stringed” since students exceeded the pre-Christmas sale goal of SCRIP cards.

On Thursday, Feb. 3, the dress up theme will be Dress as Your Favorite Fairytale/Storybook Character Day. Students will also have Missoula Theater workshops. Thursday will also be Pets and Popsicles day. From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., a drive-through soup supper will be held in Festina. The event will feature advance ticket sales only, which can be purchased at Luana Savings Bank in Ossian.

Friday, Feb. 4, will be St. Theresa Clothing Day with the Missoula Theater performance being held at 1 p.m. at the Spillville location. The play will be “Rumplestiltskin.”

In addition to daily celebrations, activities, and dress up days, students will be receiving the school-wide rewards for the Holiday SCRIP contest.
